A driver collided with a pedestrian in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday night. The pedestrian suffered major injuries and was eventually airlifted to Stanford University Medical Center.
Shortly after 10 p.m., the driver was traveling on Osos Street at the intersection of Pismo Streets when the driver crashed into a pedestrian who was crossing Osos perpendicular to the roadway, police said.
The driver was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs. police said. Investigators have not yet determine if the pedestrian was under the influence at the time of the collision.
Police have not identified either of the individuals involved in the accident. The specific injuries suffered by the pedestrian have not been disclosed either.
