Man robs SLO bank at gunpoint

San Luis Obispo police are searching for a man who used a pistol to rob a bank on Higuera Street Monday afternoon.

Shortly before 3:30 p.m., a black man entered the U.S. Bank branch at 3991 South Higuera Street. The suspect approached the teller, brandished a pistol and demanded money, police said.

The teller complied, and the robber fled the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash. Surveillance footage shows the robber was wearing a tan colored hat, a green bandana on his face and a black shirt and pants.
