SLO police searching for 7-Eleven beer thieves

San Luis Obispo police are searching for a pair of men who nabbed several cases of beer from a 7-Eleven last month, an incident that left a store worker injured.

On Sept. 23, the two suspects entered the 7-Eleven on California Boulevard and snatched two cases of beer. A 7-Eleven employee then chased down one of the suspects.

While the worker was trying to grab the cases of beer, three or four males exited a silver Nissan and pushed the 7-11 employee to the ground injuring the employee’s leg, according to police. The suspects involved in the tussle then fled.

Police describe the two suspects as Hispanic males in their 20s who are about 5 feet 2 inches tall and each weigh about 160 pounds. Anyone who recognizes the suspects is asked to call the SLO Police Department at (805) 781-7312 or Crime Stoppers at (805) 549-7867.
