Cal Fire has identified the man killed in mobile home fire late last month as Steven Rudd, of Arroyo Grande.

On Sept. 25, a mobile home located at 1189 Mesa View Drive in rural Arroyo Grande caught fire early in the morning. Firefighters found Rudd, who was in is early 40s, dead inside the trailer.

As of Tuesday, the cause of the fire remains undetermined. Cal Fire and the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the case to determines the cause of the fire and the cause of Rudd’s death.
