A woman reportedly escaped with minor burns as a fire destroyed her mobile home on the mesa in rural Arroyo Grande.

The blaze broke out shortly before 5:30 p.m. Friday at a mobile home at 765 Mesa View Drive. The fire threatened multiple nearby homes, but firefighters managed to contain the blaze to the single trailer.

Officials have yet to determine the cause of the fire. Five Cities firefighters assisted Cal Fire with extinguishing the blaze.
