Drunk man goes for a naked run on Highway 101

Authorities arrested an intoxicated man who was running naked on Highway 101 in North County Sunday evening.

Around 6:30 p.m., CHP officers found Jehovah Creed Jr., 35, running naked on northbound Highway 101 between eastbound Highway 46 and the Spring Street off-ramp. Authorities temporarily stopped northbound traffic until officers took Creed into custody.

Officers booked Creed into the San Luis Obispo County Jail on a charge of public intoxication. Creed is not currently listed as being in custody, according to the county website.

The CHP describes Creed as a local transient with warrants out of Kansas and a history of run-ins with law enforcement in SLO County, Arizona and Alabama.
