Previously deported Santa Maria man arrested again

Flavio Delabra

A felon who had previously been deported was living at a home in Santa Maria, where he had a stash of guns, cash and drugs, according to the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office.

Flavio Delabra had an outstanding warrant when authorities conducted a probation search of his home in the 1700 block of Lynne Drive last week. Investigators found $17,500 of cash, two unregistered firearms and a variety of drugs, including marijuana and 1.5 ounces of heroin.

Authorities arrested Delabra without incident and charged him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, possession of firearms with serial numbers removed, possession of high-capacity magazines and possession of narcotics for sale. Officers booked Delabra into the Santa Barbara County Jail.
