An Arroyo Grande motorcyclist and his passenger were killed Sunday after the driver lost control of his three-wheel motorcycle and crashed while driving in the Santa Ynez Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Raymond Lee Ryals, 84, was headed south on Highway 101 when he failed to negotiate a curve and crashed his bike into a metal guardrail, south of Highway 164. Bolth Ryals and Solrun Cammarta, 77, of Thousand Oaks were ejected from the bike and died at the scene.
A CHP investigation into the accident is ongoing. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the collision to contact the Buellton CHP office at (805) 688-5551.
