No other vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred around 8:30 p.m. about a mile west of Foothill Boulevard. The teenage driver said she hit what she thought was a rumble strip, and it steered her car off the road.
Emergency personnel arrived at the scene, removed the girl on a stretcher and transported her to the hospital in an ambulance. The extent of the teen’s injuries is unknown.
Another teenager was traveling in the Subaru at the time of the crash. The teenage passenger emerged from the wreck uninjured.
I was blacked out on a stecher, unaware of news crews, they didn’t ask my parents or anything. Just puts all this out there. And to fill in the extent of my injuries, just a concussion and burn. I don’t appreciate this being public however
