Police arrested a man early Monday morning after he allegedly stabbed his wife at a Morro Bay recreational vehicle park. [KSBY]

Shortly before 2 a.m., police received reports of an assault at the Morro Dunes RV Park at 1700 Embarcadero. Morro Bay police officers then arrested the man, whom authorities have yet to identify.

Emergency personnel transported the woman to Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, where she is expected to recover from her injuries.

Police have yet to release further details about the case.
