One man died in a fiery crash Sunday afternoon on Highway 101 near Laetitia Winery in rural Arroyo Grande.

Shortly after 3 p.m., the man was headed northbound on Highway 101 when he drove off the highway near El Campo Road. The truck rolled over before crashing into an oak tree, according to the CHP. The pickup truck then burst into flames and ignited a brush fire that burned alongside the highway.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

CHP officials have yet to determine the cause of the crash. It is unclear whether alcohol was a factor. Authorities have yet to disclose the identity of the victim.
