Thousands of Californians marveled at the burst of light emitted from a rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base Friday evening.
Sunlight from the setting sun, highlighted the trails from the SpaceX rocket launch. The Falcon 9 carried carried 10 satellites into space.
Following the 5:30 p.m. launch, social media sites lit up with people questioning what was causing the marvelous light show.
