My money is on the drunk also having marijuana in his system. The carnage due to legal marijuana is just beginning. A few puffs on a joint when alcohol is already in the system just magnifies the effects of the alcohol. An officer in the Bay Area was run over and killed by a guy under the influence of this very combination…on Christmas Day.
