Adopted puppy stolen in SLO break-in

Bliss

Woods Humane Society is crying foul after a recently adopted pit bull puppy was allegedly stolen during a break-in at a San Luis Obispo house.

Bliss, an 11-week old gray and white American pit bull puppy, was adopted a couple weeks ago from Woods Humane Society. The organization says Bliss was stolen during a robbery in the Foothill Boulevard area of San Luis Obispo.

Woods Humane Society also says other belongings were stolen from the home. The San Luis Obispo Police Department has not released any information about the incident, though police have reportedly taken a report on the matter.

SLO County Animal Services has also reportedly filed a lost animal report. The pit bull puppy has a microchip that is registered with its owner, according to Woods Human Society.

Anyone who has information about the missing dog is asked to call the SLO Police Department at (805) 781-7317.
