An allegedly intoxicated driver crashed and severely damaged a car in San Luis Obispo Sunday night.
At about 11:15 p.m., a 911 caller reported a crash at the roundabout on Tank Farm Road, according to the San Luis Obispo Police Department.
Emergency responders transported the driver to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. He is facing DUI charges.
One passenger was inside the vehicle as well. The passenger did not suffer any injuries.
Too bad for him that he is not in law enforcement. He would have only received a ride home like the officer in AG that hit a parked car then took out a fence. Witnesses to the accident claimed they could smell alcohol on his breath and that he appeared dazed. Officer got a ride to the hospital and never had to submit to a test for alcohol or drugs. Cover up much? And the story ends there. What ever happened to our press keeping elected officials honest. Guess this doesn’t apply to LE.
