Burglar pilfers from SLO jewelry store

A man broke into a San Luis Obispo jewelry store early Thursday morning, stole about $10,000 worth of merchandise and fled before police arrived.

The thief broke into I Love Rocks in the Marigold Center on Broad Street at about 4:30 a.m., the store stated in a Facebook post. The man stole a gold ruby necklace, some diamonds and a tray of silver rings. Read More …

Serial thieves suspected of stealing from Paso Robles jewelry store

Paso Robles police are searching for a group of alleged serial thieves who burglarized a jewelry store on Tuesday.

At about 6:30 p.m., six individuals entered Siegel’s Jewelry at 739 12th Street, shortly before the store was closing. The group distracted employees and stole an undisclosed amount of jewelry.

It appears the group is responsible for a series of similar burglaries throughout the state of California, according to the Paso Robles Police Department. Read More …
